Marty Batfreak, ex Marty B, is a DJ in Sydney, Australia, since '91 (and he's been around since '72). Help. I need somebody. Help. Not just anybody.
What is fame? What is immortality through fame? What is profit after death? And why do birds suddenly appear everytime you are near?
You know, the real success stories, the real figures who will go down in history are the stars of Today's entertainment world. Practically each day, new box office records are being smashed, budgets for films are reaching record amounts. Directors, agents, and producers, are balancing their fame with just as much pay and profiteering. Rising stars in music are being plucked up and whisked away as soon as their demo tape is finished.
Do people make albums these days because they want to, or because they feel they have a suitable collection of songs? No. They do it because they 'need' the money, or do it to be seen making money.
Where are the hoedowns of yesteryear?

Oh, happy 2008, all. A quick roundup:
1. No resolutions from me (all's well so far, stable at best)
2. I always have 2: one for me, one for my homiez.
3. I'm still working where I am since Aug 06. (see ya, John H... the nicer one)
4. I'll be back to the journal of HSC once I relocate the folder, since i packed up a lot of stuff before heading to....
5. Xmess 08 (see KKast re) - Liam got his farm time after all!
6. Speaking of KKast, it's rocking along, we are into a new studio, and the mics have yet to be tested! w00t...
7. Macq Dictionary are looking for a new Aussie phrase: i'm fond of 'arse antlers', the twisted tattoos above a chick's bum.
8. Love you Felix.
9. eBay's been good to us: sold a few comix, bought some awesome goodies (Lego, Batstuff)
10. Finally watched the Da Vinci code (among a stack of other DVDs on the farm): i'm doing all my reviewing at facebook : marty batfreak (as always).
